Scary, no really, very scary.
I remember watching a youtube video about a guy who had a big spot thing, he squeezed it and he got an infection. There were photos of his face all swollen and distorted. He didn’t have healthcare so his only option was to try some leftover antibiotics his dad gave him that were for the family dog.
I know the NHS isn’t perfect, but my experiences of it have always been good. With the two operations and the various pre and post examinations I was always treated extremely well. If I need the GP I walk in, may have to wait a little while, but once seen by a doctor am typically walking out with a prescription for what I need.
And if you don’t like the NHS and can afford it there are plenty of private options for you to choose from.
